Transcending Jewish Trauma consultation sessions are designed to escort you in a deep investigation of patterns of Ancestral trauma related specifically to inherited impacts of antisemitism.
Our investigation may include patterns that play out personally, through family dynamics and intimate relationships, and within organizations/communities/congregations.
These sessions support the cultivation of strategies for noticing, naming and interrupting these patterns with compassion, and manifesting more liberatory ways of being with ourselves and cultivating community.
As we increase our awareness of the ways Ancestral trauma plays out through our thoughts, perceptions, feelings and behaviors, we move towards personal and collective transformation: We strengthen our capacity to discern between the essence of who we are, our Ancestral trauma, and the impact of oppression we’ve experienced or inherited. We increase the compassion we bring to the tender places- in ourselves and in others- where there is healing required. And we deepen our commitment to transforming the ways that systems of oppression play out within our relationships and communities, orienting our lives towards collective liberation.
Consultation sessions are not therapy. But the space is held with insight and care.
